[this place clearly has it out for them, or they've wound up in some sort of horrible rom-com universe where you always find yourself pushed towards the person you're fighting with, like karma thinks it's absolutely hilarious. first, she'd been teamed up with kise for hide and seek (which was, by nature, not that hard to suffer through since they were hiding the whole time). now, aomine just spent an awkward evening at "speed friending" right next to kise.

[so aomine doesn't hear the knocking at first, so it's going to take him a little while to get to the door. he absolutely could not sleep more than an hour over the span of the night. he kept waking up in a cold sweat and just...he couldn't sleep comfortably. so he had been hoping he could catch a nap now, knowing how exhausted he is. but luck isn't on his side for once. when he does answer the door he looks like hell. his face is littered with various scratches and bruises from riko (and one of the house cats who got tired of all the knocking, so it decided to swipe it's paw down his face in order to get him to check the door.) and his eyes look kind of red and puffy (but only if you squint long enough). he even has a blanket wrapped around his shoulders.]

[Helping at the sports center had gone better than expected, even if she ended up being gone all day due to the rather lengthy break she and Makoto took in the middle of their work. It felt familiar to spend all day working on training schedules and recommendations, so even if she was tired, it was a content kind of feeling, combined with the kind of emotional weariness that wasn't exactly bad, just present.
