Good-!! [Shouting after him, Kise runs, trying to stay light on his feet and keep proper form. As much as he'd like some kinda handicap to even the odds, what he always liked most about Aomine is that he never went easy. He played to play- even when it comes to running to prove a point.

There's a twinge in his ankle, but he winces through it, too focused on at least catching up.]

[this asshole even turns around and runs backwards for a few minutes just to see how kise fares.]

I bet your foot is starting to hurt now, huh?

[Okay, yeah, it is, but seeing the clear challenge and mockery only makes him push himself harder.] Don't get too confident!!

[he makes a face and turns around and sets off running quickly as he can.]

[Every step brings with it a shot of pain, and soon Kise's slowing down significantly but still not giving up. Not yet- he can't give up yet. It's been days! Why isn't it healed yet??]

[because it takes more than that to heal an injury like yours. you probably have a slight sprain even. he'll keep this up for another five minutes, but once he notices that kise's slowed down significantly he slows down to a stop.] You should stop before you make this worse.

[Kise stops, more worn out than he would be normally. He looks up with a pained grin. Kise's a model- not an actor.]

You're the one who challenged me to a race, Aominecchi...

Yeah, and you're hurt dumbass. You should quit before you really hurt yourself. [he places a hand on his shoulder.] You want to defeat me, right? Doing this to your foot isn't going to get you any closer to that.

Ah... [He's right. Of course he's right. After all that exertion, there's a warmth pooling in his ankle. It isn't fair, but it's something he has to deal with.] All right, all right- but when it's healed, you have to be prepared to lose, Aominecchi. Okay?

[he chuckles.] As if I'd ever prepare myself to lose. [a pause.] Do you need help getting back to your house?

[Kise tests his weight on his ankle. There's some pain- but not that bad, right? He's suffered through worse.]

I think I'm fine.

[He doesn't wanna go home anyway!!] Since we're out already, we should do something!

You sure? [he looks at the other contemplatively before he shrugs. he's not gonna mom you, okay.] Well there is the party. Do you still want to go to that?

[reproducer]

[Thank god. Cause Kise only wants to be mommed when he doesn't need momming.] Yay! Let's go before all the meat's gone!

[aomeanie]

I don't know if they'll have meat there actually... I know they had mini bentos the last time. [and if there are more he's gonna take all the chicken ones. bc chicken teriyaki ok.]

Why's it a shame? [he looks genuinely confused about this.....]

Other things. Just because I have a hearty appetite doesn't mean I eat nothing but meat.

"Hearty" is kind of putting it lightly, don't you think?

There's hearty and then there's levels of Kagami. I am no where near Kagami.

You know what I mean! I'm not any where near his level when it comes to eating!!!

So if there was an eating competition, you would lose, Aominecchi? [He really just wants to hear Aomine say he'd lose at something non-basketball.]
