Aha...that's not a very funny joke, Aominecchi! [He forces a laugh, a grin.] You almost had me, though- we're just. It's not past the semifinals yet.

[he quirks a brow.] What are you talking about? Yes it is. [tho aomine definitely feels it too. he's able to at least recognize the unsettling feeling in his stomach to where this conversation is heading.] That's the last thing you remember, right? Playing against Tetsu's team?

No. [His smile drop. He's not sure what's going on or how this is actually possible, but he doubts Aomine cares enough to bother lying to him about this.]

We just finished our win against Fukuda Sogo. You're saying I- Kaijo loses.

So you mean you don't-- Shit-- [he runs a hand down his face and sighs. he's not entirely sure if he should tell kise the outcome, but... he's also never really been the type to lie or sugar coat things either. so with that he looks to the side and nods.] Yeah.

[i don't think that's how that works here kise.... anyway he nods.] Caught the tail end of it, and that was pretty good. Would have been better if you weren't injured.

[there's totally a street court nearby. but he's not going to bring that up lol!!!] I just found out about the center, so I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone.
