You guys win? [he's not surprised though. that was one fucking magnificent match. it was so magnificent it brought a fucking tear to his goddamned eye.] Guess I can't say I'm too surprised.

[oops spoilers except KIND OF NOT really obv....bc yes aomine that's true. it was magnificent. also AWESOME. also akashi came back to normal so that was Nice...um...] It was a great game. Both teams gave their all.

[and he doesn't have to say it for it to be obvious: he's proud of his team and he's happy. even with tetsuya kuroko's tendency to be unreadable, there is a distinct air of something joyful. impossible to miss.]

[the comment about being gatekeeper passes the way important but Understood things tend to: without a hitch, acknowledged but not blown up. kuroko once told aomine that if he ever wanted to talk, he would be there when he was ready, and while that pertained to other things back then, some things might yet remain the same. he thinks he'd like to play with aomine again soon; maybe they could even be on the same team.

he tilts his head at the comment regarding time -- that again -- and files it away before perking up a little more distinctly.]

[he might take you up on that later. but to talk about other things, like feelings. it'd probably take him a while to actually want to talk about those times at teikou and the year after that. he's content about things for now though.]

[in fact, kuroko would like to know a lot of things he has received so-far insufficient answers for whether from the paperwork or just general perusal of the HH network system. why they are here, why they do not get to choose to leave, why is everyone's car the same and on top of that why would you EVER give some of the people here cars....ah...

[because you need to drive places obviously. duh. what a dumb answer tetsu. aomine has lost faith-- no ok he hasn't. he has no idea why everyone here has cars. he doesn't know how to drive yet (and has no reason to since owning a car in tokyo is so obsolete??) so he has had no reason to use it. that and it's not like this place is hella big anyway? so he can just.... walk every where he needs to??]

Me and Satsuki live together... [wait a minute. give him a moment.] --in the same house?! We weren't... I lived there first, then she showed up a month later. [GOD THIS IS EMBARRASSING. he quickly jumps to the next bit.] But we're in 1459 and Kise's in 1449.

[he smiles but it's there and gone. aomine daiki is hilariously transparent though sometimes -- most of the time, and as long as they're on good terms, it's much easier to find the humor in it. letting the car topic go in lieu of this information, instead he says,]
