[she bumps his shoulder back before lacing their fingers together, swinging their hands happily for the rest of the walk. it looks like there's a shop that specializes in halloween costumes, probably opened just for the holiday. certainly makes things easier, right?]

[well hey there that looks nice and handy.] Wanna see what they have?

Yeah, seems like a good place to start! Cop uniforms are pretty standard fare for Halloween, right?

[he shrugs.] I guess? I don't really know. Sounds like it would be though.

[she leads the way into the shop, looking a bit overwhelmed by all the options around them.] Woah. There's a lot to chose from here.

[he turns his head away from the men selection (which is really just two or three) over to where she's at and-- oh...]

Damn, that is a lot. How many cop uniforms can a person have?

Apparently a lot. [she pulls one out that's an extremely low-cut shirt with booty shorts.] Oh, wow. I think I like the way my options are shaping up.

Oh yeah??? Seems like it's a bit overwhelming to me.

[strawberrysorbae]

I've always thought it would be fun to wear something like this. I don't really show off very often. [there are SO MANY options, from booty shorts to slinky dresses and things that look closer to lingerie than a costume. but then a dress catches her eye, and she pulls it out, cooing appreciatively over the flouncy skirt and low-cut neckline.]

[his eyes widen a little. but he tries to downplay it because wow his reaction is not what he was expecting???]

Yeah, looks good.

[she can't decide if he loves the idea or hates it.]

Do you mind if I try it on?

[his eyes widen a little. ah... yes...]

Uh-- [he clears his throat] Y- Yeah sure. If you can at least?

Hmm, I don't think it'll be a problem.

[after asking the clerk, she takes the costume to one of the little changing areas, which is literally just a curtain up against the wall. she'd normally feel kind of exposed, but with Aomine there, she knows no one will peep on her. wiggling into the dress, the first thing that she notices is that it hugs everything, EVERYTHING, but it also makes her look beyond incredible. she'll need to grab a few accessories (stockings, heels, that sort of thing) but she's pretty damn happy with it. she walks out so Aomine can see too, smoothing the Ruffles of her skirt.]
