[she's kind of expecting him to eat his food and fall asleep on her, hence why she brought a movie in the first place; it gives her an excuse to stay nearby without things being weird. the dulcet tones of tom cruise's voice certainly does a decent job of keeping her from focusing on aomine and whatever he's doing better than she could herself.]

[he can't really eat his burger angrily either, bc papa makes a mean burger. and it would be a disgrace to the burger if he was mad while eating it.

once he's done though, he sets his plate to the side and stares at the screen for a little before his eyes slip shut.]

[when aomine's eyes start to close, he leans against her a little more, and it makes her feel overwhelmed with a kind of crushing fondness. he's so easy to read. she leans back against the headboard (and he kind of just follows her, given how they're sitting), one of her hands coming up to absently stroke through his hair as the film continues playing on her screen.]

[its moment like these that make him feel at peace. which is why he's totally gonna be dead to the world in a couple of minutes.

today was a hard day, but at least he got a burger out of it. okay a burger and to have this nice closeness with satsuki as well.]
